Applications are invited for position of JRFs under Cold Arid Network Project entitled “Promoting bioresource based livelihood opportunities for the tribal community in Lahaul – Spiti, Cold Desert area of Trans Himalaya” sponsored by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur. Positions are temporary project based.

Essential QualificationFirst class Master degree in Biological Sciences / Chemistry / Environmental Sciences / Pharmacology
Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in Himalayan Region
Desirable experience /dutiesConduct intensive field research in Lahaul – Spiti district, Himachal Pradesh; synthesis of secondary information
Experience of biochemical and photochemical analysis
Experience of conducting surveys in remote areas in the Himalaya
