Primary Function : Provide technical support for Fieldpro, AgTrax and the Development Data Warehouse to the global crop development organization with a primarily focus on the Asia Pacific Region.
Brief Job Description : Support Field Development personnel on Crop Protection field research programs and data management, including trial protocols, data quality control, timely reporting, data summarization and analysis and specific systems within their time zones, while residing in Asia and focused primarily on the Asia-Pacific region. This person would have a good understanding of Crop Protection Field Development, the Field Development Data Management Process and the associated Data Management Systems.
Other Work :
a. Participate in the global Field Data Management and Systems work team.
b. Troubleshoot issues with Fieldpro, AgTrax, and the Development Data Warehouse and communicate with users why there were problems and how to remedy and/or work around the problem. --- Communicate problems to proper IT/application support.
c. Communicate with users when there are system related issues.
d. Responsible for new user account requests for Fieldpro, AgTrax and the Development Data Warehouse. Inform the correct group of the account request and get back to the user when completed.
e. Test and monitor the systems for performance problems and interact as needed with IT support.
Qualifications :
a. Master's degree in Agriculture or Biology
b. 2 or more years of experience of working in R&D of Leading Agriculture Company.
c. Good understanding of Crop Protection Field Development, the Field Development Data Management Process and the associated Data Management Systems.
