Walk–in–interview for one (1) post of Project Technician in a DBT Sponsored Project entitled “Structural Basis for the Maturation of Prokaryotic siRNA” at the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year, may be extended based on performance.
Qualification and Experience : M. Sc/ M.Tech /B.Tech in Biotechnology/Life sciences/Biochemistry or related subjects with minimum of 60% marks.
Desirable : Candidates with prior experience in cloning, overexpression and protein purification are highly encouraged to apply. Experience in macromolecular crystallography is advantageous but not essential.
Age : Less than 28 years
