Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. programmes under Department of Botany, Biochemistry & Biophysics, Zoology of the University, through admission test. Please see website www.klyuniv.ac.in for information in detail.

i.Application forms priced Rs.300/-(for SC/ST Rs. 200/-) may be obtained from the Admission Section of the University between 11.00 a.m and 3.00 p.m. on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, during December 16, 2011 to December 27, 2011, against coupon to be issued by the Finance Department of the university.
ii. The candidates may download the “Application Form” from the University website (www.klyuniv.ac.in). Downloaded Form is to be submitted along with a draft of Rs. 300/-(for SC/ST Rs. 200/-) in favour of “University of Kalyani” payable at Kalynai, Nadia, West Bengal -741 235.
iii. Last date of receiving of application forms at the University Office: December 27, 2011. For submission by hand, filled up application form along with draft (for downloaded form) should be submitted to the admission section between 11.00 a.m and 3.00 p.m. on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, during December 16, 2011 to December 27, 2011. For postal submission, filled up application form along with draft (for downloaded form) should reach the following address: Secretary, Faculty Councils (P.G), University of Kalyani, Kalyani-741235, West Bengal positively on or before December 27, 2011, failing which forms will be summarily rejected. It is to be noted that no postal delay will be entertained.
iv. Publication of list of eligible candidates for Ph.D. Entrance Test (written test) and candidates exempted from written test: January 04, 2011
v. Date of Ph.D. Entrance Test (written test) : January 08, 2012
vi. Details regarding Entrance test may be obtained from the Head of the concerned Department.
vii. For eligibility, exemption etc. candidates may go through ‘PhD Regulation’ available in the University Website: www.klyuniv.ac.in.
viii. Reservation and relaxation as per Govt. and/U.G.C. rules.
