Applications are invited for the temporary  post of one  Project Fellow  in the  UGC  sponsered Major Research  Project  to be executed in the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies, School of Marine Sciences,  Alagappa  University, Thondi Campus, Thondi-623 409,  Tamilnadu.

• Project Title : Molecular characterization of psychrotolerant histamine producing bacteria from Indian mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta).
• Funding Agency : University Grants Comission (UGC), New Delhi 
• Tenure : Two years and eight months 
• Stipend : Rs. 8000/= p.m. consolidated
• Qualification/ Experience : A first class degree in  M.Sc., Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies, Marine Biology, Marine Microbial Technology, Marine Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biotechnology. Pass in  UGC/CSIR/NET/SLET/ is prefereable.
