Title of the Project: “Studies on the molecular aspects of schizophrenia with special reference to hormone receptor genes and variant serotype alleles”.

Fellowship : Rs.14,000/- (consolidated) p.m.
Qualification :M.Sc in Biotechnology .
Description : Project proposes to pursue molecular biological studies of the hormone receptors (its sequencing and expression) and its polymorphism in schizophrenic patients. It would also involve analysis on the variant serotype alleles on the HLA locus.
