Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow position to work in the Department of Biotechnology sponsored research project.
Title of the Project: “Role of Immediate Early Genes in Regulation of Synaptic Proteins Involves in Olfactory Learning and Memory”.
Project Details: The aim of the project is to understand the molecular mechanism involved in the neural network of olfactory memory formation, using behavioural and molecular techniques.
Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/- pm + HRA as per the regulations of Bharathidasan University.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc., First Class in Animal Biotechnology/Biotechnology / M.Tech Biotechnology.
Desired Qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques
The project involves periodical field visits to collect the study animals and also to conduct the behavioral studies.
