Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the DBT funded project entitled "MUTATIONAL ANALYSIS OF A MULTIDRUG ABC TRANSPORTER TO DISSECT MECHANISM OF DRUG EFFLUX " at School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
1. Junior Research Fellow: 1 post
Salary: Rs. 12,000/- + HRA p.m.)
Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least one year experience in Membrane Biology. Preference will be given to applicants who are well versed in handling yeast cells and acquainted with yeast genetics, RNA sequencing, genomics (microarray technique).
2. Project Assistant: 2 post
(Consolidated Salary: Rs. 8000/- p.m.)
Essential Qualifications:
The Candidate should be a Graduate from any stream. The candidate must have minimum of one year experience in a reputed laboratory. The candidate should also be skilled in laboratory work and maintenance of small equipments. Computer knowledge and application with experience in handling office correspondence and management are essentials for the post.
Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the DBT funded project entitled "COMBATING MDR IN PATHOGENIC YEAST CANDIDA ALBICANS" at School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
1. Project Assistant: 1 post
(Consolidated Salary: Rs. 8000/- p.m.)
Essential Qualifications:
The Candidate should have cleared at east plus two level school examination conducted by any recognized board. The candidate must have minimum of three years experience in a microbiology laboratory dealing with pathogens. The candidate should also be skilled in laboratory work such media preparation, sterilization and maintenance of small equipments and other routine laboratory jobs.
2. Lab Assistant: 1 post
(Consolidated Salary: Rs. 8000/- p.m.)
Essential Qualifications:
The Candidate should have cleared the Matric school examination conducted by any recognized board. The candidate must have minimum of five years experience in a microbiology laboratory dealing with pathogenic and non pathogenic yeasts. The candidate should also be skilled in laboratory work such media preparation, sterilization and maintenance of small equipments. Computer knowledge will be desire.
These positions are completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. JNU may select candidates against the post depending upon qualification and experience of candidates and reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
