Post : Scientist-B (Toxicology (UR)
Essential qualifications : 1st Class M.Sc. degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry,Environmental Science or equivalent from recognized University Or 2nd class M.Sc. degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry plus Ph.D. degree or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable qualifications :
(i)Ph.D. degree in the above mentioned subjects from a recognized University .
(ii)Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in Medical/Health subjects in recognized Institute(s).
(iii)Knowledge of Computer Applications.
(iv)Good knowledge in related instrumentation and methods.
Job Requirement : To plan and undertake independent research in exploring mechanistic aspects or toxicity of chemicals of occupational and environmental origin. To participate in multi disciplinary team work in occupational and environmental health. To assist in Institutional infrastructure in project development and resource generation.
