- Essential Qualification : Post graduation in Plant breeding & Genetics /Plant breeding / Genetics /Plant biotechnology /Agricultural biotechnology /Botany
- Desirable : Work experience in plant breeding, plant physiology, plant molecular biology
- Age : 35 years for men and 40 years for women
- Duration : Upto 31.03.2016 or till completion of the project whichever is earlier
