The Principal Scientist & Head intends to recruit one Senior Research Fellow in DBT funded project and one Senior Research Fellow in CIMMYT funded project purely on contractual basis.
1.Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow

Name of the Project : DBT-funded Project titled, “Molecular marker assisted development of biotic stress resistant wheat varieties
Age limit: Maximum age 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women, and three years for OBC candidates).
Essential qualification for post at Sl.No. 1: Master of Sciencedegree in Plant Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Genetics/ Life Sciences with dissertation or specialization in plant sciences.
Desirable for both posts: (i) Experience of working with crop plants and (ii) Basic computer skills.
Emoluments for post at Sl.No.1: Rs. 18,000/- + 20% HRA per month as per rules.
2.Name of the Post :Senior Research Fellow

Name of the Project :CIMMYT-funded project titled, “Cereal System Initiative for South Asia” (CSISA)—Objective-4 (Wheat Breeding)”
Essential qualification for post at Sl.No. 2 : Master of Science degree in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Biochemistry.
Emoluments for post at Sl.No.2: Rs. 16,000/- + 20% HRA per month as per rules.
Mode of Application Submission : Interested candidates satisfying the essential qualifications may come for the interview with a copy of the bio-data, original and attested copies of all certificates, recent copy of passport size photograph, etc. for each post. The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year but may be extended on year-to-year basis, based on performance of the candidates. The candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the posts are co-terminus with the respective projects. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.
