PhD life sciences degree jobs - Switzerland

The new Institute of Molecular Health Sciences is as of March 1st, 2012, or upon agreement looking for a Teaching and Administrative Coordinator (60-80%)
The mission of the new Institute is to understand the molecular basis of human diseases and to apply this knowledge to promote the development of individualized medicines. Within this context the IMHS offers lectures and practical courses in two major areas: Cell biology and molecular health sciences. The successful candidate is expected to coordinate teaching and student affairs at the BSc and MSc levels in the study curricula ‘Biology’ and ‘Health Sciences and Technology’ in the aforementioned areas. Furthermore, the position entails administrative, financial, organizational and public relation tasks as assistant to the Head of the Institute.
 The successful applicant should preferably hold a MD and/or PhD degree in life sciences. He/she should have a solid research record, be enthusiastic about education and take initiative and enjoy responsibilities in organizational, financial and administrative affairs. This position requires excellent communication and writing skills and a strong interest in didactic and modern educational tools. German and English skills are required.
