Postdoctoral Fellowship Cancer Biology - USA

Postdoc positions are immediately available in my lab to examine functions of histone deacetylase enzymes (HDACs) in genome stability maintenance. We use in vitro and in vivo model systems to examine how HDACs control DNA repair and DNA replication, two critical regulators of genome stability. Our research is also aimed to understand therapeutic benefits of inhibiting specific HDACs for cancer therapy. Positions will be held at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated cancer research center. Huntsman Cancer Institute and the University of Utah School of Medicine promote scientific excellence through interdisciplinary research programs and state-of-the-art core facilities. Interested and highly motivated candidates should send a CV and 3 letters of reference by email to Dr. Srividya Bhaskara (srividya.bhaskara@hci.utah.edu).
