Educational Qualification : Ph.D in Life Sciences including Veterinary Sciences /Biotechnology
Desirable : Experience in animal cell Culture techniques and basic tools in Cellular & molecular biology.
Fellowship : 22000/- + 20% HRA pm
Age : Below 40 years as on 31-01-2012.
Duration : 03 years or till completion of project, whichever is earlier.

Those who fulfill the above requirements may report for a written test/ interview as per the above schedule along with bio-data and original certificates to prove age, qualification, experience etc. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates reporting after 9.15 AM will NOT be considered for selection. Candidates already in service have to produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview.

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the award of Senior Research Fellowship and Post- Doctoral Fellowships in the disciplines of Botany, Geology, Optoelectronics, Physics and Zoology under the PURSE programme. The Fellowships are initially for one year but may be extended till the completion of the PURSE programme.

Qualifications:

1. Senior Research Fellowship: M.Sc/M.Tech in the concerned subject or its equivalent with not less than 60% of marks. Those who are currently registered for Ph.D programme and which has relevance to the thrust areas of the PURSE programme will be preferred.

2. Post-Doctoral Fellowship: Ph.D in the concerned subject or its equivalent with good academic record at Masters level. Those who have obtained Ph.D in an area which has relevance to the thrust areas of the PURSE programme will be preferred.
