The Department of Life Science Informatics, B-IT, University of Bonn, currently has the following opening:
Beginning April 1, 2012, we have an opening for a motivated Ph.D. student in the general area of Chemoinformatics involving the development and application of computational methods. This opening is a University Assistant position. The position is initially available for one year and can be extended for up to six years.
Post : PhD studentship
Qualification : Candidates should have a Masters (or equivalent) degree in computer science, computational chemistry, chemoinformatics, bioinformatics, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or the life sciences, interest in interdisciplinary research, good command of the English language and scripting/programming skills (e.g. Perl, Python, Java, Processing etc).
