A PhD in microbiology, marine science, oceanography, or relevant topics in molecular biology is required. Candidates should be highly motivated, organized, independent, and have experience with marine molecular microbiology or plant/microbial eukaryotic cell biology. A background in marine algal cell culture and molecular biology is preferred, along with proven proficiency at experimental design and data analysis, including statistical analyses of comparative data.
Candidates must have a strong publication record that illustrates their ability to conduct high quality, insightful research. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required. The Postdoctoral Researcher must have demonstrated ability to initiate experimental work individually and be willing to work as a team member in a dynamic research group.
