Walk-in-interview for Life Science jobs - India Feb 2012

Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk-in-interview for one post each of Junior Research Fellow under DBT Twinning programme for NER entitled “Development of surrogate broodstock technology for commercially important fish species: implications for speedy propagation and conservation” to be held on 15th February, 2012 at 11. A.M in the “ATIC building” of the complex at Umiam.

Post : Junior Research Fellow

Essential qualification : Master Degree in Fisheries / Biotechnology / Life Science / Zoology / Animal Science. Desirability is NET/GATE Qualification and Working experience in Histopathology/Cell culture/molecular biology with good knowledge in computer applications.

Maximum age limit : 35yrs for men and 40 yrs for women candidates.

Emoluments payable : Rs. 16,000/- plus 10% HRA

Candidates are required to bring all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets in original along with an application with full bio-data addressed to the Director of the Institute. A passport size photograph may also be affixed on the top of the application enclosing photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from Matriculation/HSLC onwards duly attested. No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview. The post are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project and having no provision for regularization. The Director reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof. He also reserves the right to terminate the contract, even before completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be made.
